Dancers of all ages love to compete one last time at the end of summer at the Canmore Highland Games.

The Highland Dance competition runs all day long, and you are able to see the competition as it unfolds. Dancers may also be seen in the Official Opening Ceremonies as they participate in the Massed Fling, to the immense enjoyment of those in attendance.

Competition Timing:

MORNING
Primary, Beginner and Novice will run in the morning results. Please remain in dance attire for these awards.

AFTERNOON
Intermediate, Premier and Restricted Premier will run in the afternoon, followed by the afternoon results at the conclusion of dancing.

INDOOR (LARGE TENT) DANCE VENUE
The dance area is located in the southeast corner of Centennial Park. There will be no relocation necessary in the event of bad weather as in previous years. The dance platforms will be set up in our new tented venue, with extra cover for judges and limited space for the audience to sit under cover. No seating provided; please bring your lawn chairs.
