CANMORE HIGHLAND GAMES
Highland Dancing Competition
Dancers of all ages love to compete one last time at the end of summer at the Canmore Highland Games.
The Highland Dance competition runs all day long, and you are able to see the competition as it unfolds. Dancers may also be seen in the Official Opening Ceremonies as they participate in the Massed Fling, to the immense enjoyment of those in attendance.
We will be offering a Premier Special Choreography event to dancers in 2010 for the Premier and Restricted Premier classes. This choreography must be performed to the tune Gordon McLeod of Winnipeg which was written and recorded for us by Ann Gray of Calgary. This tune is copyrighted by Ann Gray and published in Volume 2 of her Music Collection. Unauthorized use other than for the express purpose outlined above is prohibited.
